Kathleen Halling LCPC, RPT
Kathleen is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist, who completed her Master of Arts in Counseling from MidAmerica Nazarene University. She provides therapy services for all ages from preschool through older adulthood. Her background includes experience as a high school teacher, a domestic violence shelter therapist, and a counselor in community mental health services. She promotes self-compassion and self-empowerment to generate recovery from trauma, abuse, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, or grief/loss. She approaches therapy from humanistic and systemic perspectives, recognizing that all people are valuable, possess a potential for growth, and are influenced by their relationships, circumstances, and environments. She employs a variety of interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Play Therapy to promote healing and wholeness.
