Erin Kincannon Emler, she/her/hers, has a MS in Counseling Psychology from Avila University and an additional certificate in Counseling for Children and Adolescents. She works with children as young as 10 as well as teens and adults. Her primary focuses in therapy are mood issues (anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder I and II), life transitions, and LGBTQIA concerns.
Her therapy emphasizes strengths-based approaches with the use of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, AEDP, and cognitive-behavioral based theories (CBT, DBT). With her holistic, trauma informed, and integrative approaches, she strives to provide a supportive, non-judgmental environment where clients can develop skills and enhance their strengths so that each can find more fulfillment in life.
